DIRECTOR’S NOTE

I had the pleasure of working with Cha Avas in our English-language production The Parasites of Space at Teatteri Toivo in Helsinki. Cha is an exceptionally talented and sensitive actor. He embodies his character with great emotional depth and authenticity.

Cha has a rare gift for truly listening to direction and intuitively adapting it into his performance. When given artistic freedom to influence the arc of his character, the result is nothing short of brilliant.

Cha's presence in the ensemble was artistically invaluable but also personally uplifting. Kind, generous, and thoughtful, Cha became a beloved member of our entire team. Now, only three days after the end of our spring performance season, both the office and technical staff have already expressed how much they miss having Cha around. Even our graphic designer came to say that, apart from the play itself, the best part of the season was the conversations with Cha. I wholeheartedly agree.

Cha Avas is a joy to work with! He's an extraordinary actor and a truly lovely human being.
